I’m SO FREAKING GIDDY over this series, it’s ridiculous! When Max’s book popped up on my eReader, I about flipped my lid with so much excitement! I mean it’s MAX FUCKING HORTON for crying out loud! Of course his story would be INCREDIBLE! Natasha Madison sure is scrappy…she is fighting her way up on my favorites list and she just got a couple steps closer with her upcoming release, SOMETHING SO IRRESISTIBLE, the next book in her Something So Series

Natasha Madison sure is scrappy…she is fighting her way up on my favorites list and she just got a couple steps closer with her upcoming release, SOMETHING SO IRRESISTIBLE, the next book in her Something So Series! If you haven’t heard of this author, YOU ARE MISSING OUT! Run, don’t walk, and get your hands on one of her books. You WILL NOT be disappointed!

Get ready to go through a complete myriad of emotions while reading this book. Max goes from asshole to sweetheart in a matter of a few chapters and I definitely got whiplash of DELIGHT! A shitty upbringing made Max Horton hard, stubborn, and unmoving. But it also has made him loyal to a fault when it comes to his little sister. His sister is the only woman in his life that can melt his heart and his gruff exterior, that is until Allison Grant gets thrust into the picture. She has the ability to break down all his walls with a single touch, a single glance, and yet he has to stay away. Not only does she frustrate the hell out of him, she intrigues him to end. Their banter, which starts out sour, blossoms into a flirtatiousness that is so enjoyable to read. Their chemistry is just ridiculously scorching hot, and their connection is undeniable. Their journey to each other’s hearts was beautiful, emotional, hilarious, and epic. There was no looking away once I started.

Ms. Madison has a way of sucking me in and holding me hostage with her brand of storytelling. I’m captivated. I’m enamored. I’m at the mercy of her every word when it comes to this series and these characters. Max Horton was EVERYTHING I wanted in a romance hero! He stole the show with every turn of the page, and the minute I finished, I wanted to fall in love with him all over again. It’s hard to pick a favorite hero from the series, but gun to my head, it would have to be #MadMax! I love him to the moon and back and I just know that YOU will too!

Welp, if that prologue doesn't hook you from the get-go, I don't know what will. I haven't read the other books in this series but that's not necessary -  SOMETHING SO IRRESISTIBLE can be read a standalone.

Welp, if that prologue doesn't hook you from the get-go, I don't know what will. I haven't read the other books in this series but that's not necessary -  SOMETHING SO IRRESISTIBLE can be read a standalone.

Max is as douche-y as it gets. He and Allison butt heads as soon as they are in each other's orbit. The dislike is mutual, the hate-lust, too. Unfortunately they have to work together so they can't avoid each other at all times. And when the dislike turns into cautious affection, they start a cat-and-mouse game because no one must know - Allison's family would blow a gasket, collectively, because of Max' actions in the past.

Max is a certified A-grade asshole but gradually Allison makes him softer. I loved that she could do that, she brought out sides of him nobody knew he had. He handled Allison like something precious, invaluable. She hung the stars for him and it was endearing to see how the guy who never had much love in his life basked in their relationship. He was totally starry-eyed (and some would say pussy-whipped).

Allison is a spunky heroine, not taking the crap Max is dealing and giving back as good as she gets. However, she loses a little of her edge and spirit and after 60% of the book it seemed to me that everyone and especially the heroine started tearing up all the time. I'm not immune to emotional situations but while I really loved Allison that was a little over the top. However, she stood by her man and from the moment they decide to give their love a shot it is almost smooth sailing. Almost. Remember what I said about the prologue? Never forget that one.

Now, with all that being said, I enjoyed the hell out of this story. I adored Max, admired Allison and their banter was funny. And lets not forget how sweet and adorable these two were together. There was no doubt that they were "it" for one another.

I picked up the first two books in this series because while we get all the necessary details about Max I still want to know more. Plus, the glimpse I got of Allison's parents and her brother got me hooked!

Natasha Madison is a new-to-me author who leaves a great impression. Something So Irresistible checked all my boxes, it was sexy and hilarious, sweet and romantic and the storytelling and plot were very enjoyable. I love the author's alpha males and their head-strong women so I'm definitely going to check out her other books!

I had no idea what to expect from this book. When you have a character like Max that was introduced as such a douche, it's hard to imagine him being able to be redeemed. But this book came in and proved that first impressions can be wrong and that a character isn't always what you think.

It didn't start out as an easy journey for these two but by the end I was completely in love with Max and Allison. Getting to know Max for who he really was, and how he was so sweet

Getting to know Max for who he really was, and how he was so sweet with Allison made this book my favorite of this series. There was some amazing tension between them that kept me on the edge of my seat waiting for them to finally stop ignoring that chemistry.

There's was actually more of a slow burn type of book since they made me wait so long to see them together, but I really liked that about the story. I felt like it kept everything realistic since they didn't just jump into a relationship after not liking each other much in the beginning. Plus seeing their friendship was just as entertaining as their relationship.

    Max was a surprise

I was a lil worried about this book but dying for it at the same time. I really didn't like Max in the last book. He was just so horrible and made Matthews life hell. So at the end when I found out it was goin to be Allison and Max's story I was shocked. But I have to ask it was really good I enjoy it so much. Allison is a great character and Max really did surprise me. Plus he's sexy that really helped.

Allison is the princess of her family. Even at 23 her dad and brother are so over protective over her it's crazy. I have to say it would annoy me so much. But she did deal with it well. She has the men in her life wrapped around her finger. She has worked hard to get where she is. So when a new jobs keep up as the new PR for the team she is shocked she is asked. But jumped at the chance it is just what she wanted. Even if she had to deal with Max Horton.

Max is a character there are parts where you luv him then you can hate him a second later. Like said I was worried about his character in this book. But I was so shocked he wasn't the guy I thought he would be. He's actually caring kind and luving in ways. He still has a smart mouth and can be a total pain in the butt. But overall it's like he has grew up in this book. No different women every nite or causing trouble he needs a good year. He need a new contract. It's just been made harder when the new PR is Allison Grant his enemies sister.

The love and hate relationship these to had was so good and really hot. The sexual chemistry was so high throughout this book. They just made a great couple even with the name calling and arguing. Max had it bad for Allison straight away. He started being protective straight away. It mite not of come across that way to her. I just really liked the banter for between them.

I did really enjoyed this book. But I found that I wanted a lil more at the end. I felt like the reaction to there relationship was cut a lil short. I wanted more of that. I was dying for that throughout the whole book and only really really got a few chapters of it. Don't get me wrong it was really good I just wanted more and I would recommend. I really liked the writing, story and I really luv the characters in this series there just great. Overall a great book.

    Luv this cover 😍😍😍

This book is from the series 'Something So'. Starring hot sportsmens.

They are sexually attracted to each other.

The first half of this book was Okay. But the second half suffered like most other sports romances from an overabundance of drama. Luckily after both of them are together there's no stupid separations. But stupid misunderstandings.... yes. With all that being said, I don’t think this book was terrible but something was missing.

    umph...

yeah, I tried overlooking the "image" impact this character left on me in book 2, and I do give second chances, duh?! BUT somehow, the whole package presented here (

, a broody asshole with a chip on his shoulder meets and finds a redemption and a chance at love with his team mate's little sister, and his team's PA,

), didn't leave me breathless at all, not even close.

I don't really know what I expected from this story, but I kinda always think it would WOW the shit

did, even though it's not quite the same genre, it's a similar yet different, but it doesn't even come close to the thrill and fulfillment of the mentioned book. I missed the same amount of snarky, sassy banter, i missed the same amount of funny dialogue, even though I didn't expect to find it here, in the first place...and yet, i believe It would have had a different impact on me entirely, if it were there, even in glimpses...

Nevertheless, it was just a solid read for me.
