I really wish people would read the fourth book before posting reviews on the fifth. All this nonsense about 'IT BETTER BE REN' could be completely avoided if readers would simply learn to not jump the gun.

That being said, I'm very intrigued as to what this book could be about. Tiger's Destiny ended on such a fabulous note that I can't imagine why in the world another addition would be needed. BUT!! It is an opportunity (wishful thinking or not) to read more about Ren and Kelsey. Ergo, I am on b

BUT!! It is an opportunity (wishful thinking or not) to read more about Ren and Kelsey. Ergo, I am on board and JAZZED to see what the lovely and talented Mrs. Houck graces us (the loyal fans, both diehard Ren and diehard Kishan. REN ALL THE WAY!!!) with next!!! <3

Also, I am pre-rating this book because whether or not it winds up being FABUL-O-TASTIC (no doubt it will!!!), I am such a huge fan of these books it does not matter that I have not read it. It does not matter that it is not released yet. The entire story, and it's premise, is so dear to my heart that I don't need to read it to know I will love it.

Since I wrote this one, I won't review it except to say I have never, ever cried while writing a book like I did with this one. It's an emotional roller-coaster from beginning to end.

Holy tiger! The name for the last book is here! I knew what the fourth one would be 'Tiger's Destiny' and I made a game trying to guess the last name for the fifth one. I guessed 'Tiger's Battle, Tiger's Love, Tiger's Life' and so on. Well, I guessed wrong! Tiger's Dream is better than all my guessed names.

: I just finished reading 'Tiger's Destiny' and am wondering how in the hell Colleen is making a fifth book to this series. Seriously, everything is wrapped up in the fourth book. How c

PLEASE LET IT BE REN!!! IF IT ISN'T REN THEN I THINK I'M GOING TO DIE!

It should be Ren because Kelsey is clearly staying with Kishan out of pity. If you think I'm crazy, the chapter in Tiger's Voyage where Kelsey tells Ren why she's staying with Kishan and not choosing him.

Another reason is that Ren would do anything for Kelsey. ANYTHING to keep her safe as opposed to Kishan who does anything Kelsey says. If Lokesh's men were to ambush (which they did but that's not the point) the three right

If Lokesh's men were to ambush (which they did but that's not the point) the three right now, Ren would fight for her even though Kelsey would beg him not to. Kishan would listen.

Also, Kelsey thinks love should be "practical." That's just stupid. I mean seriously, who wants love to be boring and uncomplicated? The person you're with should be able to drive you crazy (in good and bad way) because you love them. Ren is DEFINITELY meant for Kelsey. I mean it takes three huge paragraphs to describe one kiss with Ren but with Kishan it's just: The kiss was gentle and tingly. It was comforting.

With Ren, she gets into the whole warrior angel and dark Poseidon and how she'll always belong to the sea(Ren).

Basically, Kelsey is just staying with Kishan because she's insecure. She's afraid Ren will find someone better when he's made it clear several times that's it's only her he wants, or he'll try to protect her and die or something. But no, she'll let Kishan go and do all the brave stuff. But Ren is the one she wants safe...hmm...interesting. :)

Another point: When Ren and Kelsey are having their conversation where Ren wants to get back together, Kelsey says: "You have to live with the consequences of your actions just as I do." Is she saying Kishan is a consequence?

What?! What is this??? There's a 5th book?? I thought there was only 4 books!!

    Oh well. *sigh*

I really hope she ends up with Ren. I don't really like Kishan. I don't know. I just don't.

Ren is awesome. He and Kelsey belong together.

Wait. Scratch that. Kelsey can have Kishan, and I'll take Ren. <3

God Kelsey, you're so lucky... -___-

    *EDIT*

Is anybody else confused? I mean, I'm in the middle of Tiger's Destiny, and I'm pretty sure this is like "the end."

So what the heck is Tiger's Dream?

    I don't

I don't understand, Colleen Houck. Why is there a fifth book?

Ok, I'm not sure what this will be about, because the fourth book had a definite series ending feel. All loose ends tied up. Happy ending for everyone. So here are my thoughts for what the 5th book might be:

    1) A telling of the story from Ren's perspective. This would be cool, because I LOVED the part of Midnight Sun that Stephanie Meyer wrote. I read the Twilight series because of Edward (I ended up not particularly liking Bella and HATED Jacob). So this would be cool. His dream came true...Tige

    2) A book about Ren and Kelsey's son? Since the epilogue was titled "Rising Generation"? I don't feel like it can continue Ren, Kelsey's and Kishan's story with the ending that the fourth book had. So maybe it will carry on with a story about the baby?

    3) It continues the trio's story. Maybe Lokesh comes back somehow and the trio has to take him down again (either in their time or they have to go to the past again or something). That way Kishan gets to see his brother again and meet his nephew, etc. Since there was a line in Kishan's note at the end that said "Perhaps in another time and another place we will meet again".

    What does everyone else think?

Ok, I went to a book signing of Colleen Houck's last week. She said that the 5th book has not been bought because her publisher did not want more than 4 books. So that is the reason we got an ending in book 4...which I very much appreciate. She is still planning on writing book 5, though it will be really hard for her to get a publisher to pick it up since it will be just one book and they can't sell it as a boxed set with the other 4. But she's still writing it, and said she would self-pub it worst case scenario. Just wanted to clear that all up. Though, I still have no idea what book 5 will be about due to that ending. I'm still contemplating my above predictions. Because someone asked Houck if book 5 was from Kelsey's perspective, and she said "maybe".

Remember in the second book when Kishan and Kelsey sleep in the Grove of Dreams, and Kishan has the vision of himself seeing Kelsey and the baby?

(That means Kishan does meet them again.)

Then later, in the fourth book, in the epilogue, Kelsey and Ren read the letter from Kishan, and towards the end of the letter he writes, 'I have glimpsed what is to come. Forgive my interference, but it was something I needed to do' then he writes, 'Perhaps in another time and another place we will meet again.'

I think in this book, Kishan will come back and meet up with Ren and Kelsey again(maybe they will even see Mr.Kadam again, because the Phoenix told Kelsey that they would see him again.)

I have some ideas why he might have to see them again:

    1. They have to do something else that deals with the Tiger's Curse

    2. Durga needs them to help her with something (another battle maybe?)

    3. Kishan finds out something is going to happen in the future, so he comes back to help Kelsey and Ren

Those were just a few ideas of what I think might happen.
